City of North Bend Ice Skating Rink
About the Rink: This is a 3,250 sq. ft. synthetic ice-skating rink enclosed in a 5,000 sq. ft. event tent. There are four polar bears available to push around to help with balance to assist young, less skilled skaters. For regular business hours, skate rentals operate on a first-come, first-served basis. You can expedite the check-in process by printing and completing the ice skating waiver form and bringing it to the rink.
Location: 2040 Union Avenue, North Bend, OR 97459
Season: Operates each December through Valentine’s Day; Spectators are encouraged to dress in layers as the rink is very cold
Cost: $5 per for rental skates or free with your own ice skates (cash, credit card, or check payable to City of North Bend)
Parking: On-street parking on Union Avenue and municipal parking lot at Virginia Avenue and McPherson Avenue with direct access to the skating rink
Restrictions: All youth under age 14 must have a guardian present to access the ice-skating rink
Operating Hours:
Friday: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Saturday: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Saturday Theme Nights: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Sunday: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm (Private Party Bookings Available Sundays 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm)
Rink Capacity: Limited to 70 skaters
Private Parties & Ice Rink Rentals: Based on rink and staffing availability outside normal operating hours. Reservation inquiries can be filled out online.
