Local non-profit community theater On Broadway Thespians presents Stephen Sondheim’s Tony Award-winning, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Coming to the Hales in Coos Bay from February 20 to March 8, 2025. This dark comedy explores revenge and corruption in Victorian London as a vengeful barber and ambitious pie-maker confront a greedy elite. "There are two kinds of men and only two, Mrs. Lovett; There's the one they put in his proper place, and the one with his foot in the other one's face."
