Blue Box Seafood Company

Blue Box Seafood Company is a fisherman owned seafood business in Winchester Bay. It’s a food cart, seafood market, dockside retail operation, and music venue! Much of the seafood is caught by owner and commercial fisherman Daniel Chambers Jr. aboard the F/V Mary Louise.

Chef Jason Fischel leads the food cart menu, bringing his expertise in sushi to creative preparations of the local catch. The menu showcases Oregon seafood including albacore, Chinook salmon, Dungeness crab and Oregon pink shrimp, with local catch appearing in sushi rolls, ramen and sandwiches. Favorites include the Blue Box Albacore Roll and classic sandwiches featuring Oregon Albacore, Dungeness crab and pink shrimp.

Blue Box emphasizes direct sourcing, traceability and seasonal availability, with offerings changing based on what’s being landed locally. Staff can speak to where and how seafood was harvested, helping customers better understand Oregon species, fishing seasons and the people behind their seafood. With local wine and beer on tap, plenty of seating, a large turf area with games like cornhole and giant Jenga, their outdoor oasis is the perfect place to enjoy the delicious seafood and natural beauty of the Oregon Coast with friends and family.
