Our South Coast Kayak Trail makes the perfect vacation getaway for anyone who loves adventure AND it’s family-friendly. There are currently seven stops on the trail (with more planned for the near future): Gold Beach, Powers, Coos Bay, Bandon, Reedsport, Lakeside, and Winchester Bay is coming soon.
South Coast River Paddle Guides
Winchester Bay Kayak Launch
Located at the Crab Dock on Ork Rock Road in Winchester Bay. It is located just before the boat launch, near the fuel station.
Gold Beach Kayak Launch
Located near the Gold Beach Public Boat Ramp.
Powers Kayak Launch
Located at Powers County Park near the playground.
Empire Lakes Kayak Launch
Located on Hull Street.
Bandon Kayak Launch
Located at the Bandon marina in Old Town Bandon.
Reedsport Kayak Launch
Located on the beautiful Umpqua River, the Reedsport kayak launch is a great spot to take a trip up or down the river.
Lakeside (Eel Lake) Kayak Launch
Located at Eel Lake, right off of Highway 101, nine miles south of Reedsport. Enjoy camping or day use at Tugman State Park while kayaking at stunning Eel Lake. (This kayak launch is also ADA Approved)
Lakeside (Tenmile Lake) Kayak Launch
Located in Lakeside at the Tenmile Lake County Public Dock.
